Audit Lead - Change Execution

About the role

The Audit Lead – Change Execution provides independent, third‑line assurance over the governance and risk‑management practices of major transformation initiatives across ANZ. Reporting to the Audit Director – Change Execution, the role leads audit engagements that evaluate change execution risk and control effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Change Execution audit engagements of varying complexity, ensuring alignment with the Internal Audit plan.
• Apply strong risk judgement to scope, test and draw evidence‑based conclusions on change execution controls.
• Identify emerging execution risks and thematic insights, contributing to audit planning and risk registers.
• Manage audit delivery within agreed timelines and budgets, escalating issues promptly and following up on remediation.
• Apply Internal Audit methodology, Global Internal Audit Standards and Change Execution risk frameworks to enhance audit quality.
• Collaborate with audit teams and business stakeholders to produce high‑quality audit outcomes and promote a speak‑up culture.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in leading audit engagements, preferably within a change or transformation environment.
• Strong analytical and risk‑judgement capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work within budget constraints.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior business stakeholders and audit teams.
