Audit & Compliance Manager, Transportation Risk and Compliance

About the role

Amazon’s Transportation Risk & Compliance (TRC) team seeks an experienced Audit & Compliance Manager to lead and execute audit and monitoring programs for Australian Last Mile transportation operations. The role involves planning, scoping, and conducting audits of carrier partners to ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end execution of audit and monitoring programs, ensuring third‑party partners meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with global quality teams to align with audit quality standards and metrics.
• Produce regular A&M metric reports for local and global stakeholders.
• Perform deep‑dive process analyses to identify risks, controls, and gaps, influencing business decisions.
• Define audit scope and test plans for new programs, engaging legal, safety, public policy, and other compliance teams.
• Drive remediation of audit findings, working with carriers to develop and close corrective action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in auditing, risk management, compliance, or quality management systems.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Proven ability to work with senior executives and manage projects independently in ambiguous situations.
