Audit & Assurance Associate

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Associate to join our Brisbane Audit Practice. You will work on independent audits that go beyond compliance, delivering actionable insights for ASX‑listed, private and not‑for‑profit clients.

Key responsibilities

• Drive independent statutory audits for public listed, unlisted, proprietary, incorporated associations, not‑for‑profit entities and government bodies.
• Create complete and accurate audit work papers.
• Identify and report on client financial risks.
• Examine financial statements to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Investigate complex technical and application issues to improve client outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience in an Audit & Assurance environment with solid knowledge of IFRS.
• Working towards CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong client relationship, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Forward‑thinking approach to drive innovative, efficient solutions.
