Associate Professor of Psychology - Indigenous

About the role

Monash University is recruiting an Associate Professor of Psychology (Level D) for its Clayton campus, a full-time continuing appointment open to Indigenous applicants only. Reporting to the Head of School, the role leads research and teaching for the advancement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People's social and emotional well-being. Remuneration is $181,629 - $200,092 Level D plus 17% superannuation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership of the Murrup Bung-allambee Indigenous Psychology Group
• Guide the group's research agenda
• Mentor Indigenous students and staff engaged with the group
• Continue the group's work advancing culturally responsive and decolonial approaches to psychology teaching and practice

Required profile

• Doctoral qualification and/or recognised significant experience in the relevant discipline area
• Open to Indigenous applicants only
