Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Respiratory & Medical (Part-Time)

About the role

Cabrini Health Malvern is looking for an experienced, motivated nurse to join its 20-bed Respiratory Ward as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM). This is a part-time position (0.8 FTE) combining clinical expertise and leadership, supporting patient care and quality improvement. You will work across a rotating roster (AM, PM, night) and support a collaborative team caring for patients with respiratory illnesses, infectious diseases and general medical conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team
• Deliver care in line with Cabrini's organisational goals, mission and values
• Maintain patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality
• Support and mentor team members and foster a positive ward culture

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Relevant respiratory or medical nursing experience (essential)
• Previous nursing management experience (desirable)
• Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
• Flexibility to work according to Cabrini's mission and values
