About the role
Okta is looking for an Associate IT Support Engineer to join its Global Support team in Sydney. You will be the front‑line technical partner for employees, delivering fast, friendly assistance and ensuring that the tools they need work flawlessly.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑class, real‑time support to Okta staff across APJ and globally via Slack, Zoom and phone.
- Resolve incidents on the first touch whenever possible, prioritising urgent issues.
- Manage onboarding and off‑boarding tasks, including app provisioning and de‑provisioning.
- Deliver onsite assistance in the Sydney office and travel occasionally to other sites or vendor locations.
- Maintain ticket queues, hardware inventory and documentation using ServiceNow.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in an internal or external IT help‑desk environment.
- Strong employee‑first mindset with excellent communication and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to share knowledge, suggest improvements and adapt to a fast‑growing environment.
Required skills
- macOS administration (JAMF)
- Windows administration (Intune)
- ServiceNow ticketing and asset management
- Collaboration tools: Slack, Zoom, Jira
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Workspace One, Atlassian suite, and Okta platforms
