Associate – Institutional Client Insights

About the role

Join ANZ's Institutional Banking team in Sydney as an Associate within the Client Insights function. You will support the delivery of strategic funding, transactional solutions, and data‑driven insights to the bank’s largest corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Associate Directors, Directors and the Head of Client Insights and Data Engagement.
• Conduct company and sector research and analysis.
• Develop detailed financial models, capital‑structure analyses and credit‑rating assessments.
• Analyse client balance sheets, working capital, funding profiles, liquidity positions and capital‑allocation frameworks.
• Support the creation of client solutions, proposals and presentation materials.
• Engage with internal stakeholders such as Coverage, Debt Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Transaction Banking and Data Analytics.
• Deliver client presentations and communicate insights effectively.

Required profile

• Experience as an analyst or associate in capital management, debt advisory, investment banking, corporate advisory, data insights, management consulting or a rating agency.
• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate across multiple internal teams.
• Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
