Associate – Healthcare Project Management

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a driven Associate to support emerging workstreams in the healthcare sector. This role blends hands‑on project delivery with strategic contribution, working closely with senior leadership to shape market growth.

Key responsibilities

• Implement business strategy for emerging workstreams and collaborate with national and NSW health leads on pursuit plans.
• Lead Project Management Commissions, overseeing end‑to‑end service delivery for large or complex healthcare projects.
• Act as the primary client interface, ensuring projects meet time, cost, quality, safety and health standards.
• Develop project success criteria, governance structures, detailed plans and manage quality, safety, health and environment issues.
• Monitor performance using KPIs, manage change control, advise on procurement, and oversee project finances and reporting.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in construction, project management, engineering, surveying, architecture or IT.
• 5‑10 years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare construction.
• Thorough understanding of the full project life‑cycle from conception to post‑project review.
• Strong knowledge of project management concepts, tools and techniques.
