Assistant Store Manager - Repco Parkes

About the role

Repco, part of GPC Asia Pacific, is looking for a full-time Assistant Store Manager for its Parkes store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team and manage operations, while supporting and developing your team so that customers receive outstanding service. The role involves opening and closing the store and setting a positive example.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise daily store operations
• Work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team and manage operations
• Coach and develop team members
• Live, breathe and role model genuine service for customers
• Act as a safety leader, keeping the work environment safe for yourself, team members and customers
• Handle opening and closing responsibilities

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience, or readiness for that next step
• Retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale and/or workshop operations
• Ideally mechanical or automotive parts knowledge
• Flexible availability and a valid driver's licence
• Physical capacity to handle products of a heavy nature, including lifting, bending, climbing and safe driving
• Prioritises safety
