Assistant Store Manager - Frankston

About the role

ALDI is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for its Frankston store. You will join the store's leadership team and support the Store Manager in running a multi-million-dollar business, covering daily operations, sales and team motivation. The position is full-time, 45 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Train and coach team members and help develop future store leaders.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in the store.
• Manage stock and inventory and minimise losses.
• Work with the team on registers, filling shelves and merchandising special buys.
• Identify improvements and keep the store running smoothly so customers stay satisfied.
• Run the store while the Store Manager is on leave.

Required profile

• Experience leading teams, preferably in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication skills to motivate teammates and delight customers.
• Ability to support the Store Manager in achieving store results.
• Professional, responsible approach and ability to work independently, overseeing ALDI policies and procedures.
