Assistant Relationship Manager

About the role

Westpac is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to join its Healthcare portfolio team in Melbourne CBD. In this full‑time position you will support Relationship Managers in generating high‑quality deals, analysing financial information and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing credit submissions and deal structures.
• Conduct cash‑flow, risk and financial‑statement analysis for existing and prospective clients.
• Support regular portfolio reviews to ensure credit quality and client satisfaction.
• Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored financial solutions.

Required profile

• Strong financial acumen, preferably with an accounting background or experience in healthcare finance/lending.
• Excellent analytical abilities for cash‑flow, risk and financial‑statement assessment.
• Ability to build genuine relationships and communicate effectively.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to tackle challenges.
