Assistant Project Manager – Construction Consultancy

About the role
As an Assistant Project Manager at Currie & Brown you will support Project Managers in delivering construction and asset management projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with project programmes, coordination of project teams and development of project protocols.
- Maintain client relationships, monitor deadlines and support business development activities.
- Understand and use company financial systems, track project cash flows, manage consultant fees and issue monthly progress claims.
- Contribute to team effort, seek feedback and support a variety of project tasks under supervision.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, QSE manual and training programme requirements.
Required profile
- Degree in M&E/Civil Engineering, Architecture or Project Management.
- 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
- Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel and MS Project.
- Understanding of construction methodology, trades and elements.
- Positive “can‑do” attitude, good communication skills and ambition to work in a leading consultancy.
