About the role

As a Trainee Assistant Manager at Lush Adelaide, you will work side‑by‑side with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer experiences and help shape a high‑performing team. You will also support community outreach and contribute to the store’s overall growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement creative in‑store initiatives.
• Assist in recruiting, training and upskilling team members to ensure a customer‑focused culture.
• Provide constructive feedback and observe leadership practices during store operations.
• Delegate tasks to the management team to meet customer and store needs.
• Contribute ideas that drive innovation and improve store performance.
• Support financial responsibilities such as assisting with budgeting and cash handling.
• Help build relationships with local businesses, charities and the wider community.
