Assistant Manager – Radii Restaurant & The Lounge

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the management of The Lounge & Garden and Radii Restaurant & Bar, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to Hyatt standards. You will work with a team of 20 to oversee daily operations and drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team to deliver exceptional guest service and uphold the brand promise.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Create and communicate rosters, manage staffing levels, and control costs.
• Provide training and onboarding for new associates.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
• Strong people‑management, communication and decision‑making skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality operational outcomes.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
