Assistant Manager – Commercial Banking

About the role

As an Assistant Manager in Commercial Banking at ANZ, you will work closely with Relationship Managers to drive sustainable business growth while maintaining strong risk management. You will provide customers with tailored banking solutions, conduct financial analysis, and help shape the bank’s presence in the local market.

Key responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in delivering banking solutions and insights to commercial customers.
• Conduct financial analysis and develop appropriate customer strategies.
• Maintain a professional profile in the market and stay informed about industry trends.
• Collaborate with internal functions and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Demonstrate ANZ values in all interactions with customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• Strong financial literacy and analytical capability.
• Commercial and business acumen with the ability to interpret financial trends.
• Experience building relationships in a customer‑facing role.
• Understanding of security arrangement structuring.
• Banking experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Preferably holds an accounting or finance degree, though this is not a strict requirement.
