Assistant in Nursing - Permanent Part-Time

About the role

Hunter New England Health is recruiting an Assistant in Nursing for the Guyra Multi-Purpose Service, a permanent part-time position of 16 hours per week. The role offers hands-on experience across aged care, inpatient and emergency services, supporting daily patient care, comfort and independence, monitoring wellbeing and building positive relationships with patients, residents and families. It suits both experienced assistants and those currently studying nursing.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing, or
• Current enrolment in an undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing, having completed the first year and first semester or trimester of the second year, or
• Current enrolment in a TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing, having completed the required foundational practice units and 80 hours of clinical placement.
• Australian citizenship, Australian permanent residency, or a New Zealand passport; temporary visa holders may only be offered employment if no suitable local candidate is found.

• Pay of $32.85-$36.04 per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging.
