Registered Nurse - Emergency, Inpatient and Aged Care

About the role

Hunter New England Local Health District is recruiting a Registered Nurse for Guyra Multi-Purpose Service, a rural health team offering work across Emergency, Inpatient and Aged Care. Reporting to the Health Service Manager, you will provide safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care and work with a small multidisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes and continuity of care. The position is permanent full time, 38 hours per week.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Current working rights in Australia; Australian citizens, permanent residents and New Zealand citizens with a current passport are eligible for permanent employment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach in a small team.
• Flexibility to adapt to the varied needs of Emergency, Inpatient and Aged Care services.
• Commitment to continuous learning and high-quality patient care.
• Emergency nursing and triage experience is desirable, with support and supervision provided to develop those skills.

What we offer

• Pay of $81,748.17 to $114,771.98 per year plus superannuation and salary packaging.
• Rural health incentives: up to $20,000 in the first 12 months and up to $10,000 each year thereafter, based on a minimum 18-month commitment.
