Assistant Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to support the leadership of our diverse and dynamic operation, including restaurants, bars, conferencing, events, and in‑room dining at Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic and operational management of all hotel Food & Beverage outlets.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability through innovative promotions, action plans, and guest‑focused initiatives.
• Maintain Sofitel luxury service standards and brand excellence across all operations.
• Lead and develop Food & Beverage Managers, Supervisors, and outlet teams.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, payroll planning, and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Previous leadership experience within Food & Beverage operations in an upscale or luxury hotel environment.
• Senior management experience in Food & Beverage is highly regarded.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality, hotel management, or related discipline preferred.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA & RSG) certification, or ability to obtain.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labour costs, and revenue initiatives.
