Assistant Buyer

About the role

Join Peppermayo’s buying team in Sydney as an Assistant Buyer. You will support the launch and trade of fashion products across Australian, US and EU markets, working closely with buyers, e‑commerce, creative and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support Buyers across AU, US and EU markets.
• Raise and manage purchase orders and reorders for multiple categories, including accessories.
• Assist with weekly trade summaries, back‑in‑stock reports and bulk schedule uploads.
• Maintain buying spreadsheets tracking cost prices, quantities and delivery dates.
• Schedule photoshoots, manage samples and track rejected stock.
• Resolve warehouse issues and conduct competitor and trend research.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of buying or merchandising experience.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• High accuracy when handling purchase orders and supplier data.
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines across regions.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to grow within a global fashion business.
• Passion for fashion trends and the Peppermayo aesthetic.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
