Assistant Business Manager (Store Manager)

About the role

Assembly Label is looking for an Assistant Business Manager (Assistant Store Manager) for its Manly store. This is a part-time role covering Tuesday to Saturday, leading a team of retail stylists. The company describes itself as a team of collaborative entrepreneurs focused on minimalist design and the Australian coastal lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales to meet weekly, monthly and annual sales and margin targets
• Deliver high-quality customer service to build brand loyalty and repeat business
• Maintain retail operational standards and lead by example
• Work with the National Retail Manager, State Manager and Retail Business Manager on data integrity and loss prevention
• Train and develop staff and nurture relationships with other departments and stakeholders
• Keep personal and store presentation standards high
• Engage seasonally with the Operations and Design teams on the product range

Required profile

• Ability to meet sales targets and proven experience leading and motivating a team
• Strong communication and time management skills, and strong reporting skills
• Enthusiastic about feedback and understands the company values and product range
• Understanding of local and international fashion markets
• Availability for public holidays, weekends and key retail seasons
