Area Sales Manager - Lighting

About the role

An established international lighting business, which designs and manufactures lighting for commercial, residential and retail use and employs more than 280 people globally, is looking for an Area Sales Manager via Mars Recruitment. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will manage and grow sales across South-East Melbourne and Victoria.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established portfolio of customer accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical wholesalers, contractors and end users.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Develop existing accounts by understanding customer needs and recommending tailored solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline from initial enquiry and prospecting through to quotation and order placement.
• Identify market trends and opportunities to support future product development.
• Work closely with the Country Manager to contribute to sales strategy and business growth.

Required profile

• Experience in business development, B2B sales or account management.
• Experience in the lighting industry or selling into the electrical wholesale sector is highly regarded.
• A current driver's licence and a clean driving record.
