Area Sales Manager

About the role

Veolia is looking for an Area Sales Manager to join its team at the Launceston facility. This is a hybrid business development and account management role focused on retaining current clients and growing the business offerings. You will manage a portfolio of existing accounts in the Northern Tasmanian region and work within a defined territory to win new clients.

Key responsibilities

• Work with existing clients in the Northern Tasmanian region to understand their businesses and grow revenue and market share
• Develop and win new clients within a defined territory
• Promote the Veolia brand to the business and community sectors
• Work with the sales team and operations staff to define the solutions you can offer
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, forecasting short-, medium- and long-term opportunities and meeting revenue, margin and KPI targets
• Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to renew agreements, strengthen relationships and introduce additional services

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales and/or account management experience (highly regarded)
• Experience developing new business
• Track record of maintaining and developing relationships with high-level stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fully maintained and reliable vehicle with a valid driver's licence

Required skills

• CRM maintenance, such as Salesforce, is desirable
