Area Manager - Occupational Rehabilitation

About the role

Rehab Management, an award-winning national provider of occupational rehabilitation, injury management and health and wellbeing services (part of the Arriba Group), is hiring an Area Manager. The role is based out of Newcastle or Maitland and offers a hybrid working model. It sits within a large organisation that values balance and culture, with flexible work options, a pool car, extra leave and experienced management.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor, train and upskill consultants, making their professional growth and on-the-job training a priority
• Deliver constructive criticism and feedback to consultants
• Complete monthly strategic reviews and file audits with each consultant
• Build and nurture relationships with the team and with key clients
• Balance clinical and commercial goals while keeping quality at the centre of the work and reporting

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology
• Registration with AHPRA, ASORC or ESSA
• Experience mentoring junior consultants in an occupational rehabilitation setting as Area Manager
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A genuine passion for helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans
