Aquatic Education Supervisor (Part-Time)

About the role

The Shire of Narrogin is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Aquatic Education Supervisor to lead the Swim School program at the Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre. This part-time position coordinates swimming lessons, supports Swim School teachers and delivers safe, engaging and high-quality aquatic education to participants of all ages and abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Swim School program.
• Develop swimming lesson schedules and staff rosters.
• Supervise and support Swim School teachers in delivering quality lessons.
• Assist teachers with lesson planning for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
• Manage student enrolments and respond to Swim School enquiries.
• Deliver excellent customer service to participants and families.
• Assist with Swim School promotions and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive aquatic learning environment.

Required profile

• Current AUSTSWIM or equivalent Swim Teacher qualification.
• Current First Aid, CPR and Bronze Medallion certifications.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current unrestricted C Class driver's licence.
• Sound knowledge of swimming instruction and aquatic safety procedures.
• Desirable: previous experience in a similar supervisory or aquatic education role.
