Application Support / Production Support – Wealth Management

About the role

This position provides application and production support for Wealth Management business systems, focusing on extended‑hours trading and cross‑time‑zone coverage. Based in Australia, the role ensures early‑day support before the Hong Kong market opens and rapid response during non‑Hong Kong hours.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day production and application support for trading, brokerage, account servicing and digital client platforms.
• Monitor system health, interfaces, scheduled jobs and key business processes to maintain stable operations.
• Perform first‑level issue triage, incident analysis and troubleshooting, coordinating timely resolution.
• Track and manage incidents, problems and service requests through to closure, communicating clearly with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, network, cybersecurity and vendor teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Support production releases, deployment checks, environment validation and post‑release monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in application support, production support or IT operations within securities, brokerage, trading, banking or wealth management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work under pressure in a live production environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, fluent in English and Mandarin.

Required skills

• Linux/Unix command line proficiency.
• SQL querying and log analysis.
• Basic scripting for troubleshooting and operational support.
