Apigee and ACE Integration Engineer (Contract)

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent need for an Apigee and ACE Integration Engineer on a 6-month contract in Sydney, with possible extension. The role involves building complex message flow orchestrations in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and introducing new integration patterns in line with approved architecture principles.

Key responsibilities

• Build complex message flow orchestrations in ACE, including multi-step transformations, error handling strategies and aggregation/splitting patterns, with minimal oversight
• Independently explore, evaluate and introduce new integration patterns and complex flow orchestrations in ACE, following existing conventions and architecture guidelines, including cloud target-state architecture
• Work on software solutions whose quality the team develops and supports

Required profile

• Australian or NZ citizen or PR holder only
• Proven experience with IBM DataPower security configurations and management
• Strong understanding of TLS/SSL, encryption and authentication protocols
• Experience with Apigee API management and Confluent Kafka is highly desirable
• Insurance or financial services experience (e.g. ACORD Messaging)
• Good time management and attention to detail

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python or similar
• Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP/XML APIs, microservices architecture and integration patterns
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
