APAC Shareholder Services Officer

About the role

The Officer will execute Shareholder Services and Client Trading activities across APAC, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with operational procedures and controls. This role acts as a subject‑matter expert and collaborates with teams in APAC, North America and EMEA to support business growth and operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Process shareholder activity and client trading transactions within established deadlines and service standards.
• Provide Portfolio Management with accurate daily subscription/redemption data and maintain data integrity.
• Monitor transaction flows, investigate and resolve exceptions, discrepancies and breaks.
• Support automation, digitisation and AI‑enabled initiatives to improve efficiency and control.
• Serve as escalation point for complex operational issues and mentor junior team members.
• Participate in process improvement, transformation, testing and implementation of new systems.
• Maintain and update procedures, contribute to knowledge sharing across APAC and global teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 5‑10 years in investment operations, transfer agency, shareholder services, client trading or fund administration.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with AI, Generative AI, RPA, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Power Automate.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Working knowledge of operational controls, risk management and regulatory compliance.
