APAC Pre-Sales & Engagement Specialist (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Digital Science is seeking an APAC Pre‑Sales & Engagement Specialist on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. The role sits at the intersection of pre‑sales and post‑sale customer engagement for the Dimensions and Altmetric platforms, supporting prospects and existing customers across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored product demonstrations of Dimensions and Altmetric that address prospect business challenges.
• Assess prospect requirements, uncover pain points, and collaborate with the sales team to design demo strategies.
• Lead trial implementation sessions, provide hands‑on training, and answer product questions.
• Support onboarding, training, and adoption activities for new customers.
• Assist reseller partners in APAC with product training and enablement.
• Identify opportunities for more complex solutions and involve Solutions Architects as needed.

Required profile

• Strong communication and storytelling abilities to convey technical value.
• Experience in a pre‑sales or customer‑engagement role, preferably in SaaS or research‑intelligence products.
• Ability to work across multiple APAC time zones and collaborate with remote teams.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for driving product adoption.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Dimensions and Altmetric platforms.
