Aircraft Structural Integrity Engineer

About the role

Boeing Defence Australia is looking for an experienced Aircraft Structural Integrity Engineer to support the P‑8 NZ program. You will help maintain airworthiness, safety and structural integrity of a world‑class defence aircraft fleet, working within a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor aircraft structural condition data, including defects, inspections, repairs and modifications.
• Develop engineering reports and documentation that present analysis findings and technical recommendations.
• Implement and continuously improve procedures for data collection, assessment and reporting.
• Provide technical input and review of engineering decisions related to structural findings.
• Communicate updates and present program outcomes to stakeholders.
• Share technical knowledge and best practices with team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical engineering (RPEQ and/or CPEng desirable).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Aircraft Structural Integrity, structural design, analysis or aircraft repairs.
• Experience developing engineering artefacts within a regulated aviation environment (e.g., NZ Defence Aviation Rules, DASR, CASA, FAA, EASA).
• Strong analytical ability to collect, organise and interpret data.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborative work in a multi‑discipline team.
