AI Solutions Engineer

About the role

Dematic, a global market leader in integrated logistics and material handling, is hiring an AI Solutions Engineer for its APAC AI Transformation team. The engineer develops, implements and supports AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity, efficiency and business performance, working with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, AI Champions and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high-quality AI solutions and contribute to digital twin development across selected initiatives.
• Facilitate innovation and continuous improvement in AI adoption, sharing learnings and best practices across APAC.
• Act as a central hub for AI knowledge, tools and processes, supporting all departments.
• Lead development and coordination of AI agents across sub-projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Information Systems or a related discipline; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Experience delivering technology, automation, AI or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver practical technology solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

Required skills

• Experience using AI technologies, tools or platforms in a business or technical environment.
• Experience developing, implementing or supporting AI-enabled solutions, business applications, automations or digital tools.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Software development practices including version control, testing, peer review and iterative development.
• Deploying, supporting or continuously improving applications and tools.
• Desirable: experience in logistics, warehouse automation, supply chain or material handling; simulation, digital twins, virtual commissioning or industrial modelling; Python, SQL, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps; Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI services or Power Platform.
