AHS Controller & Pit Builder - 7/7 Roster, Perth

About the role

Protech is recruiting experienced AHS Controllers and Pit Builders to work with its client, a leading gold producer, on a 7/7 DIDO roster based in the South West region of Western Australia, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours from Perth. The roster is day shift / night shift (DS/NS), and there is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate. Work is paid for 12.5-hour days including a paid break, with super on all hours.

Key responsibilities

• Pit Builders: operate light vehicles in an autonomous environment, create and maintain plans, and follow hierarchy rules in the pit; Minestar Command hauling experience is required.
• AHS Controllers: meet mine plans and targets for production and safety, liaise with Pit Builders, Coordinators and Supervisors on troubleshooting, planning and system optimisation, gather diagnostics on stopped trucks and operational issues, and prioritise safety in all fleet operations.

Required profile

• Valid Western Australian manual driver's licence and Australian work rights.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the relevant role.
• Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing, and obtain a national police clearance.
• Valid, contactable references and strong adherence to OHS.
• For Pit Builders: previous pit builder or pit patroller experience preferred, minimum 2 years on DTO open pit 793, and experience with surveying and plan maintenance.
• For AHS Controllers: experience controlling or building with CAT MineStar AHS.

Required skills

• Command MineStar Fleet Management System (essential)

What we offer

• Pit Builders: $53.11 - $61.52 per hour depending on experience
• AHS Controllers: $66.39 - $70.97 per hour depending on experience, with potential for a higher rate
