Agitator Driver

About the role

Pioneer North Queensland (PNQ), part of Heidelberg Materials Australia, is looking for a safety-focused Agitator Driver to deliver concrete to residential, commercial and civil construction projects across North Queensland. The work involves close contact with customers, plant staff and dispatch teams, using modern vehicles with advanced safety technology.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain an agitator truck
• Deliver concrete to customer sites safely, on time and professionally
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Ensure compliance with road transport, safety and environmental requirements
• Communicate with dispatch, plant personnel and customers
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable

Required profile

• Current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
• Previous truck driving experience preferred but not essential
• Construction White Card or willingness to obtain one before starting
• Strong commitment to safety, reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
