Advanced On-site Technician

About the role

Fujitsu is seeking an Advanced On‑site Technician to deliver technical support and project deployment for customers in Cairns, Queensland. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining a wide range of IT equipment while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desktop, infrastructure and service support across hardware, operating systems, software, networks, servers, printers and audio/visual equipment.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within agreed SLA, logging all actions in the client ITSM tool.
• Maintain and tidy customer physical infrastructure, including desktops, peripherals, telephony and conferencing devices.
• Communicate case progress to customers, manage expectations and report any SLA breaches.
• Record timesheets and project effort accurately according to company policy.

Required profile

• Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining PCs in a Windows environment.
• Hands‑on experience with end‑user technology support and a range of devices.
• Strong customer‑focused approach and ability to manage expectations.
• Familiarity with ITIL basics and incident management processes.
