Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

The Five Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join its finance team in Balcatta, Perth. In this full-time position you will ensure the smooth and accurate processing of day-to-day accounts payable activities while supporting broader finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, raise purchase orders and ensure accurate matching, coding and posting.
• Reconcile creditor accounts and corporate credit-card statements and execute timely payments.
• Provide support for payroll processing and assist with fleet administration as required.
• Handle supplier and internal stakeholder enquiries efficiently.
• Perform general finance administration tasks, including filing and records management.
• Coordinate travel bookings and assist the wider accounts team with ad-hoc projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounts payable or similar finance administration role.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Customer-focused interpersonal skills and a professional, confidential approach.
• Self-motivated, dependable and proactive.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with accounting software such as MYOB, NetSuite or similar platforms.
