Accounts Assistant – Full-time in St Leonards

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Accounts Assistant to join our fast‑growing Australian financial services company at our Head Office in St Leonards, NSW. You will be responsible for the daily processing of receipts and payments within the Bill & Collect function, supporting both new and existing clients and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily receipts and payments, including payouts and refunds.
• Manage cash batches and ensure accurate, timely distribution to funders and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Support the finance team with ad‑hoc tasks and reporting.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience working in a finance department.
• Currently undertaking an undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
• High attention to detail and strong reliability.
• Motivated to learn, grow and develop within the role.

Required skills

• Experience using accounting software.
• Familiarity with Xero (desirable).
• Familiarity with Insyston (desirable).
• Understanding of Bill & Collection processes, receipting and payments.
