Accountants – All Levels (Expressions of Interest)

About the role

BDO Australia is seeking accountants at all experience levels to join its Business Services team in North Queensland. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from start‑ups to established organisations, providing tax and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Support partners in delivering high‑quality accounting services.
• Prepare income tax returns, financial statements, Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
• Provide tax compliance and client advisory support.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce (Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Commerce).
• Relevant experience in a tax accountant role.
• Eligibility for, or completion of, CA or CPA qualification.
• Detail‑oriented self‑starter with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Critical thinker who can challenge assumptions and solve problems.
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Professional, organised and proactive work style.
