Accountant – Public Practice (South Perth)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established mid‑size accounting public practice in South Perth, is looking for a motivated accountant to join their team. This position offers flexible working arrangements and the chance to develop your career with supportive mentors and a variety of interesting clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge tax returns for a range of clients.
• Assist clients with tax compliance matters and liaise with the ATO as required.
• Utilise Xero and MYOB AE to manage client accounting records.
• Communicate effectively with clients, both written and verbally.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in public practice within Australia.
• Relevant Australian accounting qualifications.
• Experience working with the ATO, tax compliance and tax returns.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Full and long‑term working rights in Australia.
• Desire to build a long‑term career in public practice.
