About the role

The Accountant will support financial accounting, management reporting and month‑end processes for Core Talent Pty Ltd. Reporting to the Group CFO, the role ensures accurate financial records and provides timely information for management decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly financial close, journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations and preparation of profit & loss statements.
  • Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly financial and margin reports, investigating variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform bank, credit‑card and general‑ledger reconciliations and maintain financial controls.
  • Review payroll‑related financial information, revenue invoicing and assist with BAS, payroll tax and other statutory reporting.

Required profile

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in financial accounting, management accounting or financial reporting, including month‑end close and balance‑sheet reconciliations.

Required skills

  • Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with accounting systems.
