Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. You will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, financial reporting, reconciliations and supporting a wide range of finance‑related activities across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, journals, accruals and supporting working papers.
• Support the month‑end process and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Assist with variance analysis, balance‑sheet and payroll reconciliations.
• Support BAS, FBT, audit and compliance requirements.
• Maintain fixed‑asset and lease accounting records and provide financial insights to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or related field; CPA/CA qualification or working towards it.
• Ability to work autonomously and partner effectively with business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with month‑end processing, accruals, reconciliations and reporting support.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Business Central or similar.
