Accountant – Assurance Services

About the role

PwC Australia is seeking experienced accountants to join its Assurance practice. You will work on complex client engagements, applying audit expertise to enhance corporate governance and reduce financial risk.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle assurance tasks, including planning, testing, reviewing and reporting on large, complex engagements.
• Conduct financial investigations, prepare audit reports and assess areas prone to fraud or misstatement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with market‑leading clients by delivering high‑quality service.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high‑performing, diverse team environment.
• Grow project management, leadership and networking skills with support from a dedicated coach and Partner.

Required profile

• Strong collaboration abilities and experience shaping audit strategies with cross‑functional teams.
• Deep knowledge of internal controls, including assessment, design and documentation of control environments.
• Proven track record of coaching and mentoring junior colleagues while building effective internal relationships.
