Account Manager - Residential Customers

About the role

Stramit, part of the Fletcher Building Group and Australia's leading roll-formed steel manufacturer, is hiring an Account Manager in Sydney. You will manage a premium portfolio of residential customer accounts across end users and reseller partners, growing existing accounts, winning new opportunities and building long-term partnerships. The role suits someone who enjoys sales, being in front of customers and turning strong relationships into commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of residential customer accounts
• Build trusted relationships with customers, reseller partners and internal stakeholders
• Identify new sales opportunities and turn customer insights into sustainable growth
• Develop and execute account plans aligned to sales targets and business objectives
• Maintain a strong sales rhythm through customer visits, call planning, pipeline management and follow-up
• Use CRM data and customer trends to identify opportunities and shape your sales approach
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless, customer-focused experience

Required profile

• Experience in B2B sales, account management or a customer-focused branch management role
• A genuine passion for sales and the drive to exceed KPIs
• Comfortable using data, sales pipelines and CRM systems to spot trends and opportunities
• Energetic, adaptable and comfortable spending time with customers rather than staying behind the desk
• Building products or construction experience is beneficial
