About the role
AVEVA is seeking an Account Manager to lead a portfolio of large, high‑profile customers in the Mining, Metals & Minerals and Oil & Gas sectors across Perth and Brisbane. The role focuses on driving revenue, renewals and upsell opportunities while promoting the full AVEVA digital transformation suite.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a defined portfolio of mining and oil & gas accounts to meet renewal, upsell and growth targets.
- Build trusted relationships with C‑level and operational stakeholders.
- Position the complete AVEVA portfolio as a platform solution for enterprise‑level digital initiatives.
- Conduct consultative, value‑based selling aligned with customer business objectives.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts and new logos.
- Coordinate with presales, services and partners to ensure successful solution delivery and adoption.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline in Salesforce.
- Represent AVEVA at industry events, customer meetings and strategic account reviews.
Required profile
- Proven track record in industrial software sales, preferably 3+ years of enterprise‑level platform selling.
- Experience in the mining industry with knowledge of sector‑specific operational and business drivers.
- Strong business acumen to articulate ROI and business value to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in consultative, value‑selling across complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of AVEVA’s portfolio (PI System, APM, MES, AIM) or similar industrial software solutions.
- Experience working with channel partners, distributors and system integrators.
- Familiarity with the MEDDPICC sales qualification framework.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.
