Account Manager - Maintenance Services

About the role

Data#3, an ASX200-listed IT services provider serving businesses across Australia and Fiji, is hiring an Account Manager for its Melbourne office. The role works closely with technology vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, HPE and Dell, and involves managing an established customer base and growing recurring revenue through maintenance renewals, upsell opportunities and customer-focused solutions. Technical and presales specialists support the sales capability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage maintenance renewals to drive retention and revenue growth.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and expand existing customer accounts.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, vendors and internal sales teams.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and technical specialists to develop tailored solutions.
• Manage sales targets, track renewal performance and maintain accurate forecasts.
• Strengthen vendor partnerships across technologies including Cisco, Palo Alto, HPE and Dell.

Required profile

• Experience in IT sales, account management or a customer-facing technology role.
• Commercially minded, with experience managing sales targets or an individual quota.
• Confident communicator and negotiator able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Organised, analytical and comfortable working with customer data and sales forecasts.
• Ambitious, coachable and keen to grow their sales career.
