Account Manager – Diabetic Pump Therapy (Sydney Territory)

About the role

Join a global medical technology organisation focused on innovative insulin management systems. As an Account Manager for the Sydney territory, you will work closely with a clinical specialist to drive adoption of diabetic pump therapy, build relationships with diabetes educators and endocrinologists, and support patients starting their pump journey.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales revenue, account activation and target metrics across the assigned territory.
• Execute national marketing initiatives and provide insights for territory planning and business strategy.
• Maintain accurate, timely updates in the CRM and ensure compliant product delivery and support.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, including clinicians and patients.
• Deliver high‑quality training to clinicians and support diabetes educators to become certified pump trainers.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience in medical devices, preferably representing a Type 1 diabetes portfolio.
• Strong relationship‑building capability with clinicians and patients.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with clinical specialists, sales colleagues and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for training and education.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for data entry and reporting.
• Knowledge of Type 1 diabetes and insulin pump therapy.
