Account Manager – Critical and Cardiac Care

About the role

The Account Manager – Critical Care and Cardiology will drive growth of GE HealthCare’s critical care and cardiology portfolio across acute care settings in Queensland. You will combine commercial expertise with deep knowledge of ICU, HDU, ED, OR and other high‑acuity environments.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve orders, sales and profit targets for the assigned territory.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and manage the Salesforce CRM funnel.
• Lead proposals, prepare quotations, conduct product demonstrations and ensure correct order entry.
• Develop strategic call cycles, build strong relationships with key acute‑care accounts and execute customer segmentation.
• Provide product presentations, clinical evaluations and Voice of Customer feedback to product and marketing teams.
• Collaborate on promotional events, product launches and territory‑specific initiatives.
• Comply with GE Quality Manual, privacy, anti‑competition and other regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business, technical or clinical discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare sales experience, preferably in critical‑care environments.
• Understanding of critical‑care workflows, hospital escalation pathways and decision‑making processes.
• Proven ability to engage clinicians, biomedical engineers and procurement teams.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel within Queensland, including occasional overnight stays.

Required skills

• Salesforce (SFDC) CRM proficiency.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
