Account Manager & Business Development Manager – Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

Join a well‑established supplier to the construction and infrastructure sectors in Melbourne’s western suburbs. You will manage a portfolio of existing customers while driving new business growth across Victoria.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and act on opportunities to increase activity within current accounts.
• Develop relationships with contractors, project teams and decision‑makers.
• Follow up leads and generate new business opportunities.
• Conduct client meetings and site visits.
• Prepare proposals and manage the sales process through to completion.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a high level of service.
• Manage a sales pipeline and contribute to revenue growth.

Required profile

• Enjoys working directly with customers.
• Has experience in account management, business development or sales.
• Can spot opportunities and follow them through to closure.
