Accommodation Administrator – FIFO 14/7 Roster (Weipa)

About the role

We are looking for an Accommodation Administrator to join Sodexo’s Far North Queensland team on a FIFO 14‑days‑on/7‑days‑off roster. The role is based in Weipa and involves creating a “home away from home” for staff and visitors at our remote sites.

Key responsibilities

• Process high‑volume accommodation check‑ins and manage flight bookings for on‑site personnel.
• Enter and maintain data in accommodation and flight reservation systems.
• Perform general receptionist duties and ensure the front‑of‑house runs smoothly.
• Maintain the accommodation database and support administrative tasks for the Integrated Services Manager.

Required profile

• Well‑organised, self‑motivated hospitality professional.
• Experience in accommodation reservations, preferably in remote villages, resorts or similar environments.
• Strong administrative background supporting a fast‑paced team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Open C‑class driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (intermediate to advanced).
• Familiarity with accommodation reservation systems and flight booking tools.
• Database maintenance capabilities.
