Windows and VMware Engineer – Sydney

About the role

We are seeking an Infrastructure Associate to provide Windows and VMware support for our clients in Sydney. The role involves managing Windows Server environments and VMware vSphere infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter, vROps, vSphere Lifecycle Manager (Update Manager), VMware Horizon/View, NSX, and vCloud Director.
• Perform Windows Server installation, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory Services such as AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, ADFS, and AD Certificate Services.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with VMware and Windows Server administration.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Experience working in a consulting or enterprise environment.

Required skills

• VMware vSphere, vCenter, vROps, vSphere Lifecycle Manager, Update Manager.
• VMware Horizon, VMware View, NSX, vCloud Director.
• Windows Server (installation, configuration, performance tuning).
