Waste Collection Driver (Rear‑Lift)

About the role

Veolia is seeking a dedicated driver to operate rear‑lift waste collection vehicles in Albany, WA. You will play a vital part in keeping the community clean while supporting our environmental services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Collect general waste, recycling and organic waste on a secure, long‑term contract.
• Transport waste streams safely to designated disposal locations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Operate a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment, primarily rear‑lift waste collection trucks.

Required profile

• Current HR licence (essential).
• Previous HR vehicle driving experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the Albany region.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to pass pre‑employment medical, drug screen and police clearance.

Required skills

• Safe operation of rear‑lift and side‑arm waste collection vehicles.
• Understanding of waste handling and transport regulations.
