Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse team at Garlo’s Pies, a proudly Australian‑owned food manufacturer. This fast‑paced, high‑impact role involves overseeing end‑to‑end logistics, storage and inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage forklift drivers, yard hands and foodservice pickers.
• Oversee end‑to‑end management of finished goods within the Warehouse Management System.
• Audit pallet transfer activities of forklift drivers.
• Forecast, lead‑time management and procurement of packaging and raw ingredients.
• Oversee daily manifest creation and pallet dispatch to customers and 3PL storage.
• Optimise pallet freezer, storage cool room, ingredient cool room and mezzanine storage capacity.
• Perform daily operational and admin tasks.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required profile

• Proven experience in a warehouse role within food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop teams.
• In‑depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP and WHS requirements.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Hands‑on leader with a proactive approach to culture, safety and quality.
